Background
Born at Surinam in a family of sugar workers and went to Keats College , Ch-Grenier for secondary education . Started business in 2007 through Proplastics Ltee in the field of distribution of plumbing and electrical pipes , fittings and accessories in the local market as well as export especially to Seychelles . Royal Kaju RK- SBN Ltd has been set-up last year (2021) to deal with wood especially sawn for construction purposes. Also having 32 years of working experience in the social field and have worked in 7 constituencies of Mauritius since 1989 .

Mr Beeharry Shardhanand , President of HBCCIP is the director of 2 companies namely Proplastics Ltee and Royal Kaju SBN Co Ltd ,both dealing in the construction sector . He is the holder of an MBA from the University of Mauritius and a LLM in International Business Laws from the University of Panteon Assas (Paris 11). He likes meeting business challenges of all times at local as well as international levels. He also like dealing with social/ community/ cultural agents to have a prosperous and harmonious Mauritian society where people would love living in.
